Dubbo Gaol Renovations Work – Stage 1

This project included major building repairs, refurbishments and construction. Demolition of existing gallows gallery, install new structural steel curved roof structure, raised steel webforge grate platform, ramp and steel framed glass doors and windows, repaint throughout, new electrical and mechanical works, refurbishing the existing well.

There were a number of challenges with undertaking works of this nature including working around, and on, a heritage listed public building which entailed a high level of care and attention from us and our subcontractors. The gaol was also in operation to the public throughout the works so we had to manage working around the general public which included strict supervision, adequate signage and barricading and working after hours.
